After a round of mahjong, press the switch to raise the control panel in the center of the mahjong table. Manually push the mahjong tiles into the gap for shuffling. Internally, a large central turntable shuffles the tiles, while four suction ports around it transport the tiles to four outer channels for stacking.
The suction wheels are equipped with magnets, installed in a direction that attracts opposite poles to the magnets inside the mahjong tiles. If the incoming tile is face up, the opposite poles attract and pull it away; if face down, the like poles repel and push it away. Magnets are also installed in some areas under the large turntable, where tiles that are pushed away are flipped over again by the like poles.
This mahjong machine prepares two decks of tiles: one for playing on the table and the other for shuffling underneath, saving waiting time. The table contains magnets; the magnetism is strong during shuffling, but the distance between the tiles and the table surface weakens the magnetism to a negligible level, preventing tiles from suddenly flipping over during play.
