The dice in an electric mahjong machine typically fail to spin due to the following five issues:
Power Supply Problem: Insufficient power to the dice motor or loose wiring. Check if the 220V power supply is normal and if the fuse is blown (common specification is 2A).
Mechanical Jam: Dust or foreign objects (such as mahjong tile fragments) accumulated under the dice pan are jamming the rotating shaft. The panel needs to be disassembled for cleaning; it is recommended to do this every 3 months.
Sensor Failure: The infrared sensor is obstructed by dust or damaged (if the distance exceeds 5mm, it will malfunction). Clean it with an alcohol swab or replace it.
Motor Damage: The dice motor is aging (lifespan approximately 3-5 years) or burnt out. Use a multimeter to check the resistance value; the normal range is 50-80Ω.
Main Board Failure: The relay module controlling the dice is damaged. Professional repair or replacement of the main board is required.
